Hello friends,

I had made a thread in the 'Available Domains sections' but thought that it may now be more appropriate to create a new thread in the Expiring Domain sections because now our tool includes Expiring Domains.

For many people that have been using this tool, there isn't really a need to an introduction. But to those that have not used it before, you will find it really handy, simple to use, and very powerful tool to acquire expiring domains from TDNAM.

The Free tool scans the TDNAM "closeouts" and "expiring names" section on an hourly basis and provides Page Rank, Checks if the PR is suspicious, Domain Age, and many other analytics at the finger tip of the user.

Some neat features include a quick filter for 'LLL', 'LLLL', 'NNN', 'NNNN', 'English Words', 'Pinyin Words', 'Spanish Words', and many more...all done with just one click of the button.

I hope you all enjoy this tool and continue to use it for all your tdnam acquisitions. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the tool, feel free to post them here. We have been very responsive to many requests and have implemented many of them into the tool. Freshdrop.net is truly a domain tool built and designed by domainers for domainers.

Enjoy and happy hunting: www.freshdrop.net

Let me know what you guys think of the site and if there is anything you want to add to the site. Also, if you pick up some good names using this tool, please mention it in the thread.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Galt,

Pool, Namejet, and Snapnames are by far constitute the bulk of all domains being dropped. TDNAM only covers domains from godaddy... but alot of the premium names come from the earliest registrar which is Network Solutions and other registrars. The bulk of all premium domains are located in the Pool, Namejet, and Snapnames data feed.

Freshdrop.net UPDATE:
Mar 04, 2008

INC Quick Scan Open to the Public!

Another first in the industry. FreshDrop.net has done it again by pushing the boundaries of domain searching. By far the best buyers in the industry are end-users. They constitute the bulk of the largely priced sales. Our "Inc" Quick Scan scans all domains to see if there are any domains that are the name of any US Incorporated company.

This is not necessary trademark violating... to give you an example, the scan would have picked up: NEXTSTAGE.com . If you google nextstage you will find that there are various end users that have the name nextstage in their names. So essentially you have a good pool of endusers that would do anything possible to get this valuable domain.

We thought this scan was very powerful because I've run across many examples of these generic/brandable names that can be sold to multiple end-users. BTW, NEXTSTAGE.com is at pre-bidding value of $4100 now!!

Imagine if you were a company that was in need of a better internet presence but your name was already taken by some other person on the internet. Then one day a domainer comes to you and offers to sell you the name? Wouldn't you be likely to pay a good fee for that name to better establish your webpresence?

That's why the "Inc" quickscan is so powerful!

Happy Hunting!!

Hey another great addition!

Just an idea... thought off adding a tool which shows if other extensions other than the .com are registered?

Thanks,

Dave

Good job, Bob.

But why not add 'CCVCV' to it? Like 'Lpina.com' etc.

Working on some good stuff right now, we may add CCVCV soon... is that a very good 5L combination?

Champ,

We will most likely add that option in version 3.0 as part of PRO SUBSCRIPTIONS.

Thanks for your feedback.

Bob, It is really nice helpful tool and I probably will subscribe there as well.
But design is a bit harsh, too bright green colors either.

Dimaer,

You will be happy to know that we are hard at work on FreshDrop version 3.0 which will have a great design to it. Less bright colors and more warm. :)

Expect it to launch within 1 to 2 months.

Bob,

First off, VERY useful tool.

One area of improvement though.........

In the closeout area, the Pagerank listings are often incorrect. Many of the sites listed as PR3 in the closeout area have graybar or PR0. Could this have something to do with the recent PR update? Maybe, but it is clear that the PR for the closeout domains area are not real time (real time=what is shown at present in Google toolbar).

Real time PR in the closeout area would be especially helpful!

Thanks for a great tool!

N~

P.S. Would be nice to see Google backlinks too, with a link to a the actual Google backlinks page for a particular domain.

PR listings aren't working

I'm a pro member of freshdrop and all of the PR listings are showing either "0"
or "-".

Is anyone else having this issue (pro members)?

gorilla bob - when will this be resolved?
