FRESHDROP.NET - Free TDNAM Expiring Names Tool

Hello friends,

I had made a thread in the 'Available Domains sections' but thought that it may now be more appropriate to create a new thread in the Expiring Domain sections because now our tool includes Expiring Domains.

For many people that have been using this tool, there isn't really a need to an introduction. But to those that have not used it before, you will find it really handy, simple to use, and very powerful tool to acquire expiring domains from TDNAM.

The Free tool scans the TDNAM "closeouts" and "expiring names" section on an hourly basis and provides Page Rank, Checks if the PR is suspicious, Domain Age, and many other analytics at the finger tip of the user.

Some neat features include a quick filter for 'LLL', 'LLLL', 'NNN', 'NNNN', 'English Words', 'Pinyin Words', 'Spanish Words', and many more...all done with just one click of the button.

You haven't seen nothing yet. Some of the good things to come for 2008 that we are prepping up for right now are data access to Pool, Snapnames, Namejet, and possibly 'Reg-Fee' domains.

Not only that, we are currently migrating over our Geo database which has a total of 2.5 million countries, regions, and cities!! This will allow of INSTANT scans of all domain selling sites for geographical domains! A first in the domain industry!

That's why you are seeing a little downtime right now because we are prepping everything up for the BIG LAUNCH!

I'm dying to get my keyboard back into that closeout list. Let me know when its back up. I've scored some nice ones over the past few weeks.

One question for you. Do you know if you get a cut from the final amount or the opening bid? I can give you a few examples if you want to check on your end. I hope you're getting a cut on the final amount.

Our technicians are working the *sses off right now in getting closeouts up. Hopefully we will have it up within the next few hours.

As far as the final amount, I can only we that we get a % of the final selling price. As it stands we only get a set amount from all sales, whether it be from closeouts or expired names.

Because of this, we are actually will be changing our business model a little by also offering premium subscription services to namejet, pool, and snapnames databases in early 2008.

We'll still have closeouts, expired_names, and sedo_auctions for free, but also we will have premium access to namejet, pool, and snapnames databases on a subscription basis.

Added new quick scan (GEO - Geographic)

Ok, as promised. We finally got the GEO scan up and running. Our GEO scan has over 2 million geographic locations: countries, cities, states, etc.

Initial scans may take a few hours, right now 'Closeouts' is working. 'Expiring Names' may not be ready for another few hours.

EBAY Database now publicly available for FREE!

Ok guys. This is a first. Everyone knows how difficult it is to search for domains on EBAY. But because of this, time and time again, you find some of the greatest domain deals on there. So now we've made your searches a whole lot easier with our EBAY scans.

Because the naming convention of the Ebay auctions are not constant, they'll be some times when the scanner picks up only part of a domain name...so just keep that in mind... but I think it's probably the best thing so far.

Thanks for the headsup. One of the biggest reason why noone has been able to do a ebay scan has been the fact that ebay does not have a standard format that it follows for domain auction submissions.

So our proprietary scans does a very good job at deciphering what is legitamate and what is not. We just added some more filtering mechanisms which should take out alot more of the weird domain auctions... however, i think it's safe to say that there will probably be one or two incorrect auction listings left over.

The goal of the ebay scan is for a domainer to quickly scan through and plan through what they ebay auctions have in seconds, where this was pretty much very difficult to do before.

For this goal, i think freshdrop has nailed it.
