I am green to the domain industry. I came across these two domains and registered them. They had very high appraisals at urlappraisal.net. Could you possibly give me insight on what these domains might actually be worth? And, are there any free domain appraisal sites that are "in the ballpark" when it comes to their figures? When is it worth paying to have a domain professionally appraised? And what would you consider to be the most legitimate appraisers? Sorry for all the questions. Any advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

1. Never use automated appraisals. They will just give you false expectations, and burn holes right through your pockets.

2. Never pay for an appraisal. This is another area that will be burning your money with unrealistic values. Alot of scammers use this method when preying on the new crowd.

3. You will get the most accurate and free appraisals right here.

4. Sorry, but your names have $0 value. Seek a refund if possible.

The best education you can get is right here on the forums. Concentrate on reading and learning and not trying to find that million dollar hand-reg name, because it doesn't exist.

Thank you for your response surfer. Can you tell me if .info extensions have any value at all? Is the reason for no value because of a potential trademark violation? I am just trying to understand why? Again, thank you for your previous reply. If you can't take the time to respond further, I would completely understand.

The .info extension can hold value, but it takes very strong keywords and certain niche areas.

And the .infos that hold value will only be found on the aftermarket.

But I would not recommend that you invest in the extension at all in this stage of the market.

Stay away from hand-reg names until you have a really good understanding of the market and end-user potentials.

And yes, stay far away from anything where you question a trademark.
