Free Verizon Ringtone - New Year's Eve Only

I've been with Verizon for less than a day, so I might as well try this.

Here's how to download your free ringtone:

1. Go to Get It Now on your Verizon Wireless Phone
2. Click on Music & Tones
3. Get New Ringtones
4. Download or Access VZW Tones Deluxe
5. Pick & Purchase a Ringtone
6. Click Redemption Code and Enter "2007"

Were you able to every get through? Every 15 minutes or so on New Years Eve I kept checking, but VZW Tones kept giving me an error that the Service was Busy...Please Try Again Later. Around 11:30 I just gave up, but I was wondering if anyone was lucky enough to get through.

I kept trying until I got through. When I got to the ringtone I wanted, I entered the code "2007", but then that didn't go though. So I did it all over, and it didn't give me the option anymore to enter a redemption code. It must of thought I recieved my ringtone and wouldn't let me do it again.

Same thing happened to one of my sisters. But my mom, dad, and other sister got through and received their tone.

But oh well, I'll try to figure out another way to get free ringtones.

I hear a lot of people online are using http://www.mobile17.com
Not sure exactly how it works. I have yet to try it.
