Ubuntu is shipping the brand new 5.10 version for free. It is a great distribution and you cannot beat free. They will ship you up to 55 cds at once.

55 ubuntu cds at once? i ordered a thouzand 2 months ago as a joke and they asked me what i will do with it, i said im going to give it out for free as a big company and the next month i say 3 large boxes in front of my door, a man knocked and gave me 3 large boxes each around 1 meter big and now i got 1one thouzand ubuntu linuxes in my room i duno what to do with them, i havent even used 1!!! :lol: if anyone wants one shiped to them in 2 days and lives in london il send it for 1 pound (wich im nearly only charing the shiping) :lol: pm me for details!

But I don't think we should order such huge amounts of CDs with no reason. It's like stealing.

I got few CDs and shared them, but how are you going to share 1000 CDs?

As far as I remember, I got my CDs in 3-4 weeks.

i ordered 3500 of them (i actually did pass them out) for votech, they asked me for what... they came 2 days later :P Took a week for delivery... and let me tell you... i never thought that many cds would way as much as it did O.o
