Ad supported mailing - FreeMailPost.com
Passion. Freedom. Utility… FreeMailPost lets people order FREE envelopes with pre-paid postage for mailing within the United States.

FreeMailPost was created to provide companies with a new space on which to advertise - your envelopes. A company can have their adverts printed on to the back of the envelopes and you can request up to 5 free envelopes each week. Even better... the postage is already paid! Simply insert your letter, write the address, and drop it in a mail box. Also you will be helping to save the environment by reducing the amount of fliers, posters, brochures, vouchers, etc, that are discarded daily.

The first envelopes will be sent soon. Everyone who has registered will receive their envelopes in order of first come first serve.

We love the criteria of 5 envelopes per week upon request. Also we want let you know that we are dependent on the advertisers who make it possible us to offer free envelopes to you. We are currently involved in talks with several advertisers and will be keeping you updated. We will keep you informed of this by means of our newsletter.

At present number of registered member mailers continues to increase exponentially.
TO START SENDING MAIL FREE,
REGISTER NOW!!

The concept is supported by advertising, in two parts. Ads are printed on the back of the envelope, and in exchange for 5 free ready-to-mail envelopes, users also agree to receive advertising messages via email once a week.

Registered users can order a maximum of 5 envelopes per week.

Ad supported mailing
The adverts that are printed on the back of the envelope are essential to allow mailers to send mail for free through the USPS. Our plan also includes weekly ads sent by email to all registered users. Due to the need to ensure all our envelopes get used by our mailers, we will start with a limit of 5 envelopes per week, again this number may change overtime."

Huh. looks cool, I'll try it, see how it works out.

I registered, and on the page it said this:
We recently reached our initial goal of 10,000 members. The next step is to signup up advertisers. We are currently in talks with a few advertisers. Once that is complete, we will automatically begin sending out the envelopes which will be very soon. From this point, there is nothing else you have to do except update your information if it changes.

The first envelopes will be sent out as soon as we have enough advertisers to support the service. Everyone who has registered will receive their envelopes on a first come first serve basis.

So basically, it hasn't started yet, but it will. Just a heads up :)
