SQL QuickRegister is a full-featured membership/password management system.

The application is written in Perl and is configured to work with MySQL. All the HTML is found in templates hence the web design is under your control.

It can be used with:

SQL QuickRegister is built from 4 modules:

Registration

* Validation of required fields
* Accepts member's usernames and passwords, or generates random passwords.
* Encrypts passwords.
* Provides e-mail confirmation to a registered member
* Sends an e-mail to the Web Administrator for the registrant's details


Login

* Use an e-mail address as the username.
* Verification of username and password.
* Checks the activation field (controlled by the Web Administrator through the Web Panel).
* Checks the expiry date.
* Features automatic login using a login cookie (optional)
* Password Reminder Feature
* Forces login after inactivity for so many minutes (optional)
* Restrict access by IP Address and/or Computer and Browser.
* Allow only one login (optional)

* Redirect to HTML pages on your site, or URLs
* Username, password, expiry date and activation fields are checked with every link.
* Prevents bookmarking your web pages.

The Web Panel

* User-friendly access to members' profiles
* Change any field of your member's profile
* Easy method of changing the expiry date or the activation field of any member.
* Deletion of a member profile.
* Configuration parameters set from the web panel.
* All error messages controlled from the web panel. Great for different languages.
* Traps for system errors. For example if MySQL goes down the Application Administrator will receive an e-mail the MySQL is down when an attempt is made to access the application.
* E-mail Module uses sendmail or Net::SMTP.
* Add new users from web panel.
