Free Domain (1st year)

Hello, Just thought i would pass this great special on

register.com is offering 1st year free - I registered one and it really is free. However i believe its new accounts only but im sure you have a hundred emails sitting around and you will need to give them your credit card/paypal.

The site says no further obligation so I would assume you could transfer it out. In the account page theres a check box if you want auto renew just be sure not to check it. And theres a transfer button there to. It comes with all the normal features included with any domain from them.

Register.com has one of the highest fees to register domain names.
If you can remember to transfer the domain(s) before the year is over, then go for it.

Yea, register.com wants $35 a year I think which is insane. Just be sure to uncheck auto renew and/or cancel the domain or transfer before your years up.

Some years ago, I transferred all the domains I had FROM Register.com -- >> to Enom.com ... and there were no problems (transfers ("pulls") initiated at Enom.com) with any of these, whatsoever, IMHO.

Just be sure to check the fine print, is all. :gl:

just signed up for one with a cc that expires soon so no chance of being hit with the $35 next year

also does anyone know how to push at register.com incase i sell it, cant work it out
