* Check the availability of the domain/s.
* Read the "Terms and Conditions" carefully.
* Submit the registration template from the site www.mos.com.np with all the required information.Your service provider company can be consulted for technical information in the template.

* For official requests, a letter on the company/organization's letter-head AND a copy of company/organization registration certificate issued by the respective government bodies must be submitted by post or fax to the Hostmaster.
* For personal requests, a copy of the applicant's citizenship certificate must be submitted by post or fax in order to verify the authenticity of the applicant as only Nepalese citizens are entitled to register personal domains. A request letter has to be submitted along with the citizenship copy.

Yes, these restrictions apply to those outside of Nepal, but the user who posted claimsto be from Nepal. This means he can get the names.

Ahh yeah, I saw that he was from Nepal, but I just posted that for those who are not from Nepal who might be interested in the rules.

Not only do you have to be from nepal, but you have to send them a letter rquest along with citizenship copy. Thats a lot of work for a .com.np domain. Could they just check for location using IP?

Well, you could always get a .tk

or .be right now, if you don't have $7 for a real domain name.

Well, in the case, say .org.ua is also free to register with no restriction atm. But the process is hand-made, not automated, so it takes time.

I can help u ppl registring a .np domain but registration process can take anything between 2 working days to 1 week . the folks at mos.com.np are too serious about .np domain name . they only give domain if u have a real web site. they dont allow you to park domain . Its hard to get a .np domain unless u work in mos.com.np's office

To be honest, unless you live in Nepal, I cannot see much use in this domain.
