Just about two and a half months ago, the user aimex77 https://www.namepros.com/members/aimex77.939170/ had purchased a bulk of of domains. He received them all, then now chargebacks at paypal.

He is a fraud.
He is a con-man.
He pays, gets all domains, then chargebacks and file disputes at paypal for a non-receive bogus claim.

I had pushed all domains to his accounts many days ago already. And here are his account details:

Uniregistry.com:
account ID is 183229
email: [email protected]

Domain.com:
account name: viagraacecom
email: [email protected]

Dotster.com:
account name: dizmobi
email: [email protected]

Upon searching this email [email protected], it came across in another forum that he does the same thing to his purchases. He bought them, received them, then chargebacks.

If you have done transactions with him. BEWARE.

Here are 2 of his known emails that he used for payments:
[email protected] by the name of: Honour And Glory Shop
[email protected] by the name of: Creative Internet Marketing

GoDaddy email address: [email protected]
GoDaddy Customer #: 47426703

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Paypal transactions can always be disputed by bad faith buyers.
Paypal will also charge back if the payment source (credit card) was fraudulent.

In the time it took you to post that, you could have just as easily explained to people how. I was under the impression that non-tangible goods were now covered.

Covered for buyers I believe not sellers.

We’re extending our purchase protection to cover intangibles (services, digital goods, travel, event tickets and other intangible items). Beginning with transactions that take place on July 1, 2015 and after, we’ll review buyer disputes regarding intangible items where the customer claims they have not received the item or service, or if the service or goods are not as described.
  1. You should be prepared to provide compelling evidence that you provided the intangible item, and it was as you described it to be, should a buyer dispute a transaction. This compelling evidence could vary depending on the type of goods or services provided. Please refer to the User Agreement Policy Updates for more information.
  2. Purchases by buyers of most items can be covered except real estate, businesses, vehicles, custom-made items, industrial machinery, items equivalent to cash and items prohibited by PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy or that violate eBay’s prohibited or restricted items policy.
  3. We expect your business will be able to benefit for this change too because of the confidence buyers may have when shopping for intangible items.
  4. As always, PayPal will consider all claims on their merits. If, as a seller, you can provide evidence that you did provide the goods or services as described, we may reject the buyer’s claim.
What do I need to do?
  1. Be prepared to provide PayPal with ‘compelling evidence’ to prove that you provided the intangible item and that it was as you described it to be (just as you do for tangible items).
  2. For example, if you sold a music download, you might consider providing proof that you sent the buyer the link to the download and proof that they buyer accessed the download, giving dates and times (illustrative example only).

For more detailed terms and conditions related to this change, please see our revised Buyer Protection Program in our User Agreement Policy Updates.

was he filing these through credit card chargeback? or are we talking regular paypal item not received claim?

cause I know paypal moved their deadline to file paypal not received claim from ~2 months max to 6 months max.. abotu a year ago.. precisely to minimze #chargebacks filed.. cause each cc chargeback aparently is $100 to paypal in some fee.

so it is my understanding (but I'll need to double check that) that one cannot even file a creditcard chargeback within this 180 day frame. only a paypal dispute. else this modification would not have the desired effect for them.

There is an older thread to this issue with Paypal. Maybe it is of help for someone:

/threads/selling-domain-names-paypal-disputes-how-to-protect.825232/

Can't post the direct link, it is on Namepros.com with this heading from June 4 2014:

"Selling Domain Names & PayPal Disputes: How To Protect?"

In my opinion, there was anything there that was of much help.
But thanks for the link though!

Don’t you have whois screenshots after you pushed the domains. I always do it, I think it can be used as a prove.

tekz,

Sorry about your loss. It sux when scammers hit, for sure.
I think you would do the forum a service if you posted the names, so that down the line everyone knows not to buy these stolen domains.
.
Peace,
Cyberian

IF ANYONE ELSE DID A TRADE WITH AIMEX AND HIS OTHER BANNED ACCOUNT, PLEASE MOVE MONEY OUT OF YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT SOON. RISK OF CHARGEBACK IS HIGH.

Looks like PayPal is allowing chargebacks from 60+ days ago...

lol, paypal will suspend your account and take the funds back from your bank or credit card....

Trust me, nothing you can do. Paypal are the real scammers!

Paypal stole me about 2K in charge backs whenI was new to domain investing. Nothing you can do to get your money back. They just don't care about sellers...

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned... if a buyer sends the funds payable to a friend or family member they can not charge back the transaction. Unless PayPal has changed their policy in the last couple of months I am sure this is correct.

Cheers

This only works in America from what I know. I have tried with a friend in India and it didn't worked

In future make sure you had proof of conversation from Skype or email.
Also agreement from the buyer, he received all the domains/items with signed scan copy or the message from Paypal Email Address.
