I wanted to forward the traffic of a domain to another, but after i set the forward (http://xxxxxxxx.c-o-m) nothing happened even after days. If i type in the domain, it still shows where the nameserver leads. Do i have to change the nameservers also for the URL forward to take effect?

How exactly did you forward the traffic in the first place? .htaccess file, control panel, etc?

It would do no good to change the nameservers for the domain you are wanting to forward especially if its not registered with GD because it would never resolve.

Both are registered at GD, and the domain i wanted to forward to the other, i have set the URL forward at Godaddy, but it doesnt work. Although if i go to the domain settings it still shows the right URL to be directed to.

It shouldn't take that long.

I forward traffic domains to their Sedo parked pages, so it works. Could you post a screenshot of your domain manager?

To enable domain fowarding, go to your godaddy domain manager.
Select your domain, check that domain fowarding is enabled.
Set the address for domains to foward to, and that's it.

It is enabled, and the address of the domain is set, and still doesnt work.. Probably i will have to send an email to the godaddy guys, thanks anyways!

I believe I know the problem. In order to forward, the domain name must be on goDaddy's parked servers. If you ever hosted the domain, you are on their hosting servers.

Change the nameservers to Default Parking Nameservers and then forwarding will work.

(Used to work for GD, got this problem all the time!)

You have to use the default parking nameservers, go to your panel and click on the domain, then click on the current nameservers (its a link) and choose "use default parking nameservers".

Wait some hours (12-24) and flush your dns cache by clicking on start menu->run command->type "cmd"->press enter->type "ipconfig /flushdns"->press enter->close window

And reload your site from the browser window. It should redirect now.
