forum.site.com VS site.org

Hi,
I've got a gaming website with .com extension. Now I wanted to create a forum for this website, but I don't know if the best thing to do is to use a forum.gamesite.com or a gamesite.org formula (supposing I already own gamesite.com).

What do you think about it?

I'd keep it in one place.
I'd go for the forum.gamesite.com example.
it is less confusing for your visitors, and it will add more content to your site for seo purposes, making it more popular in search engines. Just use your links to the forum wisely.
