I have a short question which I am curious about
For how many years do you usually renew your domains?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
1 year at a time, but I don’t wait until the last minute or get behind on renewals. I try to stay 3-6 months ahead.

It depends.

During good sale periods, I might renew some of my best domains for many years at a time.
I would rather be ahead on these in case sales hit a slow period.

If you do that for all your domains though, you could really eat into income.

In general, a year at a time.

When I have a good year with sales and cannot find a good domains to buy I will renew for some years to reduce my tax.
Of course everything (profit, spending, tax) need to be balanced.

Generally after an inquiry will add another year or two so they can rule out it will be dropped but a year or two at a time.
