Folks, Time to Reg more .TVs,Huge Discount!!

Hi everyone,

I just registered MA(dot)tv for a 70% discount.

.TV representative told me that they are offering 70% discount blanket on all names. ll or lll or any for that matter. First year reg fee is for sure at 70% discount, second year on, 50% discount is guarenteed, where as you can get 70% discount if they offer it.

Go on now, and register all that you were thinking on...

I am a little skeptical abut this so called 48hr window of oppurtunity. I just think Verisign made more public wahst has being going for quite a while....major "discounts" to their advertised prices.....

Whether this discounts translate into market value remains to be seen - but where Verisgn has succeded is in the " i don't think its gonna get any better than this" thought process and the "i got to reg it at this price before anyone does" scare tactics......

If I had regged an LL.TV at full whack, I would not feel ungrateful, I would feel cheated and stupid for falling for the prop up value of the reg fee.......I only hope, that having taken advantage of todays 70% discount price, that I do not get the same feeling as those who will reg in a month/two months time at a 90% discount

This being said, I believe and hope that the $10,000 reg that myself and Aamaretto pooled together to buy today will turn out to have been pounced on at just the right momnet

I just spoke with the .tv rep and asked when exactly this 48 hour sale ends and she said that they don't have a time limit yet, they are just testing this out.

I need to shutdown my computer now as I just reged my 11th premium. If things don't pan out the way we are all hoping, we can use the domain I just reged.

I am affraid its not called ovt w/ext. For sure 1000 ovt is very good for 'pbs tv' but as far as I know ovt for pbs.tv is called the ovt with ext. Peers can correct me if I am wrong.

DUDES CONGRATS I have been pushing for 70 % off Scott Higgason who ran/ tv just left and now the 70 % comes I do not believe you will see them at 90 % off Millers. You got some good domains everyone did. I regged CMT ovt with extension 91 and it was $500 so got it for $150 a year. Waited 6 months to reg a good wait thought it was worthwhile at $500

hard to imagine the score being good, especially when the reg fee is hundreds per year, it is probably a trademark infringement also.

State abbreviations are good I don't like AO because no one can say that is what everyone correlates that to mean. There are acronyms that mean the same to everyone OK TV NY I like ND for Notre Dame or North Dakota.

Cheapest for regular domains is Moniker (I think). I still use Go Daddy.
