Just finished reading the whole article.

I heard about this being in development a couple of years ago, but there was an issue with finding a test pilot I think! :D

I'm looking forward to when they become the usual "cars" on the "street".

Lol, this kid at my school was making a flying car - haha! Apparently he has 5 sheets of A3 paper with blueprints and plans on them, lol. Wait till I tell him about this on Monday :)

flying cars have been around for awhile, just like alternate fuel cars, its gonna take a looong time to change over.

Well www.moller.com is a great source for additional info. I have kept up with this skycar for years. it Has cost the designer something like 50-80 million to design and he only has the one model. They have only done tethered flights and had many issues with the motors, computer systems and the FAA. Great concept but dont expect to see one for many many years
