Howdy!

I'm trying to fix that "screen size resolution" problem that a.mohamed so smartly pointed out! I changed the table width to 100% rather than the fixed pixel size I had before. But now the banner doesn't align with the rest of the page. :(

Just for the sake of trying, I set the width of the banner to 100% also but that didn't do the trick. So... how do I make the banner work properly with any screen size?? Here's an example of what I mean...

Thanks!

Seeing as the banner has a gradient from white to blue, you could position the banner on the right side so the left side would blend into the background. This way it would always look like it's stretching across.

But what's the actual problem anyway?

If I understand screen size resolution... it means your website looks the same to all (most) people regardless of what type of computer/monitor they have.

With regard to my site, a while back I noticed that at my home computer each page filled my monitor's screen very nicely! However, when I use one of my office computers it will align to the far left leaving a big wide open blank space on the right. :'(

If your monitor is set to a certain screen size, what exactly I'm not sure, these two pages will look different...

So, I have to figure out how to get my pages to look the same regardless of the system from which they are being viewed. This means the banner too! :]

Hmmm.

Hmm....a fellow Microsoft FrontPage user. I have had the same problems. I would go with aligning the banner to the right. Take advantage of the banner being gradient, as suggested by rowan. It should blend nicely.

Cheers
