I just sold my first Domain at DNAM.

I contacted buyer thru DNAM for registration contact information, they gave me a different name than the one DNAM authorized me to transfer it to.

The name they wanted it transfered to is in the Netherlands.

I asked them to supply the name listed as buyer, they gave me the correct one with his buyer details -- now I see his country is different -- Russian Federation!

I called support last night and the support fellow didn't seem to know what to tell me -- finially said to process the transaction.

Wanting proof I had been told to process, I emailed support with the details... and was told NOT to!

I have emailed yet again to get a final statement, noting who I spoke with last night, the time, and the response.

I don't want to lose the sale, but I don't want to get scammed either. I must assume if I transfer to any party other than the authorized name, then Transaction Assurance will not cover it.

In addition, I have email from "Critical Internet" wanting the domain transfered, with yet a different buyer name.

Looking online for any verification of who Critical Internet might be, I find this:

...names could become easier to hijack as a change in domain transfer rules takes effect Friday. Under new rules set by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), domain transfer requests will be automatically approved in five days unless they are explicitly denied by the current registrar.

There were links in the email to confirm or deny the transfer... I don't want to click on EITHER of them!

While the domain name is currently locked... when I unlock it (which I still don't know how to do), will this other party swoop in to take it?
