First Premium Domain Certification - Mean Anything?

Hey,
I just got my first premium domain certification from premium domains. They certified my tits.st as a premium domain, with a score of 535. Does that mean anything? Has anyone here sold a domain thanks to them?

Please help a newb out .

Premium Domain (or Domain Score) are tools that can be used to somewhat estimate (catch my drift) the value of a name. While it's true that great names score high and shoddy ones, generally low, the middle (scores in the 400-650ish range) are really hard to judge. Most names scoring 700+ are great names no doubt. But a name scoring similarly to what yours did is very difficult to judge -- the main reason being the extension.

At the end of the day, a name is worth what someone will pay for it.

Thanks a lot for the great info Reece. That was about the intention of my question. Also, I'm seeing News.st promoted on Premium Domains' homepage and I figured another keyword domain of the same length would get the same treatment, but I don't know. Any tips on marketing this one? Would cold-calling (or emailing) adult webmasters get me anywhere?

I have to agree that the upper range scores tend to represent truly desirable names. And that some of the mid range scores can be helpful but less meaningful. Premiumdomains can only depict static trends and not those that break away from tangible parameters (stats)." Brandables" can not be evaluated very well. Traffic names are better scored.

However ..... I will admit it feels good to have the added confirmation your name is somewhat above the "reg fee " value ....... And yes this should be considerred a tool. One of several tools.

Thanks for the info and opinion NameNut. It sounds well researched and makes sense to me. And like you said, it's pleasant to hear it's worth more than regfee. Other ideas, suggestions?

On a related note, do any of you know where to market .ca domains?
