First Page Ranking on Google less than 1 Week

Hey Guy's,

Just wanted to say it is possible to get a First Page Ranking with a new domain, I bought and set up TwilightDvds.com

I only got the name on the 3rd Of March hand reg.

Put up a very simple site still working on updating it with pics and links but I was shocked to see that we are already on the First Page of Google in less than one week.

Check it out for yourself if you want.

What I am wondering is has anyone else had the same success?

My only concern is can I keep this place?

I not an SEO expert so I dont know if I can?

What do you guys think I should do with the site?

Given the ease of ranking high, obviously not much.

I think it can be easy, utilizing the proper tools and targeting niches, diversifying... I mean, I've bought 5 domains and one is doing very well right now. I'm going to finalize a few things, put a custom logo on it, iron out an update routine and figure out monetization, and make the site FASTER somehow...and we'll see. I'm not expecting to retire, but a lot of people are visiting so I'll make what I can of it.

Unless that wasn't directed towards me, especially the IE browser seeing ME #10 - maybe that was directed to the thread starter. But my UFO site is doing way beyond my expectations for just a fun little site for my weird hobby...

I think he means in terms of competition. High paying keywords are harder to rank for, but for certain niche it's not always the case.

Congrats on the 1st page rank Rob. I did the same with one of my names last week - been monitoring it to see how it changes position (based on its exact keywords) - and it appears to be moving between position 7 (page 1) and position 11 (1st on page 2). A bit of a yo-yo.

I didn't expect it to even rank for the first few weeks, but glad it did. Rather than worrying about revenue, I'm just experimenting with the SEO side of things to understand more about how certain things effect the ranking. "With knowledge comes power" as they say...

i cant find you anywhere with or without quotes. With quotes also there is twilightdvds.co.uk at #6.
