First Page Ranking on Google less than 1 Week

Hey Guy's,

Just wanted to say it is possible to get a First Page Ranking with a new domain, I bought and set up TwilightDvds.com

I only got the name on the 3rd Of March hand reg.

Put up a very simple site still working on updating it with pics and links but I was shocked to see that we are already on the First Page of Google in less than one week.

Check it out for yourself if you want.

What I am wondering is has anyone else had the same success?

My only concern is can I keep this place?

I not an SEO expert so I dont know if I can?

What do you guys think I should do with the site?

I forgot to say the term it is coming up on is "Twilight dvds" - Google search volume last month for this term was 5,400 (Local) and 8,100 (Global) Hopefully we can get some of this traffic we are towards the bottom of the page so hopefully I can get more content on and reach the top of the page.

Definitely keep the momentum going, it happens often you get ranked quickly upon launch and suddenly drop in rankings if there is no further activity.

So keep adding content and obtaining backlinks, with key emphasis on backlinks.

Try searching for it on a different machine or in yahoo or bing search. Also try just searching for Twilight Dvds and see if you can find it. Most people will type that in and not the whole url.

I checked your seo on google chrome
You have one page indexed on google. None on bing or yahoo. Alexa score is zero. Google rank is zero
Your servers are in Houston Texas and I will not list your ip address although that is easy for most to find.

Keep working on it though. Having good website content will help your ranking. Mention the name of your site several times in your content.

I'm not finding you in the first 100 results for Twilight dvds (no quotes).

If I run the words together, I'm finding this thread at #6 on page 1.

Everyone who's seeing otherwise, check that you have personalization turned off (personalized search is the DEFAULT for everyone on Google - if you've visited the site then done the search it WILL show up higher ... for you.)

p/s: I observe that your on-page SEO is on average-meter, the keyword density is 7% and you need to update your meta-description and meta-keywords, just add your keyword 'twilight DVD' there. and also your linked text, just add one or two linked-text or anchor your keyword. Try improving your off-page SEO, generate and create more back link. you can try to post some articles on EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints and link your web to it to boost your back-link.

Those with "opinions" about SEO may want to consider that there is a difference between "facts" and "opinions" and your own milage may differ.

Not too surprised at your results. The SEO is very strong towards the keyword phrase you are being found for, and of course having it in the domain is a plus. A small plus but a nice one all the same. I find I can get many of my parked domains to rank for the keyword phrase in the domain if I also optimize the title, description, keywords and the content. I also get some links to my parked domains, again with the same keyword phrase. For sites I use General Optimization for many, many keyword phrases, but I can't do that when parking.

Using SEO to rank for a specific keyword is the normal practice, but keeping it may or may not happen. It depends a lot on what happens with your site as a whole, what the competition does, and if Google changes the "rules". Many people just target one keyword phrase, but if that goes away... I recommend doing keyword research, using as many of the keywords and phrases as possible all through the site, and pay less attention to rankings and more to your stats that show how much traffic you are getting. It's less work, doesn't need much ongoing maintenance, and is less stressful.
