Advantages & Positives:
+ Clear meaning
+ Professional tone
+ Versatility (can be used by a single consultant, a firm, or even a "regular" web developer...)
+ Other variations are taken (consultant, consultancy, consulting...) - though no business actually uses these domains

Disadvantages & Negatives:
- namebio 0 sales
- dotdb 0 LTDs
- 3 words
- 11 characters
- possibly too niche? (as opposed to "software development" -- though web development is a huge field by itself)

What do you think?
Have I wasted another 15$ or does this domain can sell like a hot cake?

You bought w e b d e v c o n s u l t . c o m? Just checking because you've substituted some letters, -not sure why.

In terms of the domain itself, the only value (if it's brand new domain) that this could have is if it's a commonly searched phrase. I'm not very sure it is, but that is to be checked.

I think you've lost that 15$ I'm afraid, especially because I think you'll have a bit of challenge finding a buyer for this.

But you can make it up if you build the website and build the SEO around website development - given the domain's name. And then put it up on sale based on it's then established value for generating website development inquiries.

But the website development SEO can be a tough nut to crack because there's a ton of companies offering website development services that easily come up on search. So you're competing in a pretty saturated industry in terms of SEO.

But this is your best option in my very honest opinion.

Still trying to finger out the name.
Are you masking it or what is it?

@DomainLift Can you elaborate please why you think that?
@MasterOfMyDomains Yeah, I mean *Web [then] Dev [then] Consult*. I'd love to hear your opinion of it!

@dbravo Sorry, missed your comment somehow.
Perhaps you are right, but I have to disagree with you guys that it is completely worthless.
Resale value worthlessness? Possibly. (And most folks here are domain traders, I get it).
But still -- web development is a super large field -- and this domain conveys clear, professional meaning.
"Web Dev" is a very common abbreviation for the field, and I'd even prefer it over the full "webdevelopment" for specific usages.
I get that due to it being potentially hard sale and you have better domains in your portfolio, you wouldn't bother buying it.
But say you were a web developer yourself looking to build a professional portfolio website or just john @ w3bd3vc0nsu1t.com, I don't think that it gets much better than that for a hand regged domain.
If you think differently let me know. I'll be happy to realize that I'm missing something in my evaluation.
