I prefer singular to plural on forum, plus add in the extension. Then add in a saturated on the net topic. Equals feels regfee

Some one please post a forums dot us comparable.

That should have told you something about the value of the name. Granted, I've hand reg'd some decent .us domains, but rarely should you think "Oooh, it's available for registration. Awesome!" Instead you should think... "It's probably not worth it if no one else has bothered to register it". The exception is not the rule.

Had-registering a domain doesn't mean it is worthless.

Stay away from .US, if you're not from the US.
Stick to .coms
Like the other guys said, the plural ruins them.
