There is a favorite sites thread, but this thread is for your favorite sites of the past that are now defunct or drastically changed (not layout, but type of content).

Some of my favorite sites in the past were:
Da Black Goku - DBZ episodes and "Black" recolors and drawings of DBZ characters

I used to love Fark. That's where I first learned about Homestar Runner.

I also miss Eefoof/VuMe; it was a great site for ad impressions with high revenue.

Oh man! I also miss Geocities. I would spend hours browsing anime sites in the Tokyo section of Geocities.

I loved to use Orkut. It might be a forgotten name now but it was leading pioneer in social media platforms. Very friendly to use and catch up with.
