Fan mail

I run a couple of fan sites and no matter what kind of disclaimer I put on a site people still think its the celebs official site and so I get a large amount of amusing/scary emails from fans. From people asking to go out with the celeb to a guy writing and wanting a pair of jessica albas sandals sent to him.

But today I got one of my favourites and thought I would share, this guy has emailed before so he has a bit of a history but todays made me really laugh:

I was hoping to meet up with jesica for a coffee at some point and need to get in touch with her. Do you guys have her email address by any chance? Still trying to find a way to meet her that isn't creepy and stalker-like :S Not easy in this day and age

haha you know, I dont think its that easy to get a lunch date with Jessica Alba.

A couple of years ago I sold all my fan sites but then I missed getting all this fun fan mail so I created a few new ones. Fan mail, the best reason to own a fan site.

There are a lot of crazies out there... thanks for the insite into a few more disturbed minds lol I can't imagine ever writing something like that to a celebrity or someone who "might" know a celebrity. Hehe

Lol, i get numerous e-mails everyday from the fan sites i run & i have a disclaimer too, but people still email me saying:

I know your alive

etc etc etc this fan site is to a dead music artist... Then i have loads more fan sites & people ask to meet me, tour in their area or even ask me to send them money as they are broke :lol: ...

I dunno i find them annoying just like spam, because i do want to read emails to see what people want from the site but could do without the crap...

I had to completely turn off email services on a domain and remove all contact information from one of my large fan sites because of this type of "fan mail".
