Family dog drags newborn into woods

Terrible :O This happened here in Kentucky.

Just a few days ago a Jessamine County family was celebrating the birth of a new baby boy born just three days ago.

That joy turned into terror Monday afternoon when police say they believe the family dog grabbed the baby by the neck and dragged him 100 yards from the home, into the woods.

Police received a call after the infant's father, Michael G. Smith, says he saw the dog with the infant in his mouth. The baby was found shortly after laying on the ground with serious injuries. He was taken to UK Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

scary ! I wonder what was dogs idea. They carry pups b neck so maybe he thought same about the baby or It was jealousy.

maybe the dog is jealous because of the new attention or the dog thought he's her pup poor baby...hope the baby is fine and the dog too!
