Fake PayPal email

it takes you to a site that looks like paypal's (but isnt) and gets you to put in your username and pass. So now they can hijack your paypal account

true, 2 bad i switched my info right after i logged in so they cannot get nothing from me lol .

If you get an email saying that your bank account/ebay account/paypal account may be closed or info needs updating go to the offical website by typing the link in your browser (if it seems real), another tip is to mouseover the link within the email to see if it's the proper link to the web site, but be aware that the link & mouseover can be fake too :yell:

Paypal nevers sends real ones to you

I got a real one that was similar, when my credit card was about to expire.

I got one "from" wells fargo, asking me to update all of my information.. they basically asked for my life history, as well as my mpm's and dad's. I spent aabout half an hour making all of this stuff up and submitting it to them. Then I reported them.

I got 2 fake paypal email which looked exactly like realy paypal emails straight after i had sold arcadescript.info

The links were to http://www.paypal.com but when you mouse over them it had an IP address...

Dont you hate the mungrels. There are tonnes of people out there who use paypal and have no idea about this kind of thing. Dont you hate scamming mungrels!

I jsut got one a few hours ago, link was to paypal but led to an IP address.
