Hi Malin,

Currently, it's not possible to add a .xyz website to your Facebook Page.

I've included a link below to Facebook's feedback form. We often make changes to Facebook based on people's feedback and we'd appreciate any suggestions you have.

Have a nice day.

Is this still happening? Has anyone tried recently?

Instagram, owned by FB, disallows .XYZ domains too.

He said it was the next .com so I'm sure they will allow it soon.

gen.xyz is the homepage on the .xyz facebook page...?

Edit: Just tried it out on my Instagram. They allow them too.

The minimum for a gTLD is 3 letters. Facebook would have to somehow qualify for a ccTLD to get .fb.

If they got .facebook or something, I highly doubt they'd open it up to people either.

Facebook is effectively a virtual country of 1.7bn? people

how long before Facebook or Google run a country? an internet country?

they can't. Allowing companies to own 2L extensions would cause too much confusion...

also they don't need their own TLD. Neither do people need FB domains.
