Got it at auction. I was thinking it would be good for a travel site, specifically for the US. "explore" is a relatively popular word in Google (348 Million) so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Verticalize each state... This is one of the rare instances where I absolutely love creating a synergy between the keyword and the TLD. This is a great, great name that just oozes with potential, given the right external marketing.
I know this might sound like an exaggeration, but IMO, this is probably one of the better 'brandable' .us names in existence. It might be top 10 or 20 overall in the entire .us namespace. I don't know what you paid, but you made an extremely wise purchase here. If the US extension does what I believe it will eventually do, this one could be a twenty carat flawless diamond. Of course, you know all this already, which is why you own it :D

This is a great domain name for a travel site. The number of people taking domestic vacations has been and is rapidly increasing. The .us extension is perfect for this domain. One of the best matches I've seen lately. Some .info's are also a great match for some domains.

The extension totally increases the value for a domain targeting this particular country. For me, I'd value just the domain for at least 4-5K for a quick sell to an enduser. It could bring a lot more from an enduser, if you search for them and you're not in a rush to sell. Naturally for an investor/reseller the value is a lot less, as would be expected. This is a top of the ladder domain and extension that should be developed, or sold to me for a cheap price.
