This was in the Domaining.com newsletter today:
"ExpiringDomains.com will be shutted down within the next days.
Starting today we'll no longer accept submissions.
Only the sale listings will remain up until all submitted names reach their bottom price.
We thanks all the people who played the game by submitting and/or buying expiring names and/or promoting this service.
But we have to admit the activity was not sufficient to have a service like this land off.
Marketing expenses have been largely over benefits and unfortunately the future was not promising:
None of the registrars we contacted wanted to promote such service, and they were the key of the success.
We had the crazy pretention to create a service where for the first time owners will benefit of their dropping names, we failed. "
