ExpiredDomains showing unavailable names as available?

I have been researching a bit about dropped names and I see that expired domains shows some of teh registered names as dropped.

Some issues with this?

I saw some names which were shown as available and I got all excited about it, only to later see that they have been taken.

Anyone facing the same problem?

Any filters that I might be missing out here?

Also, any tips on ExpiredDomains filters?

It depends on the domain, domain registrar status update interval time.
Maybe, it was not synced at the time of your search.
Happens to me as well.

I happens everywhere I get names suggested with registrars that I already own.

Happens with everyone. The domains actually dropped and were catched or registered by someone. But the updates are not instant and sometimes takes a few days, therefore expireddomains.net still thinks it is available when it is not.

Getting used to seeing good names and then expecting them to be unavailable.

Picked up some good .CO in the exercise which weren't expected to be available.
