Expired Domain Sells for Over a Quarter of a Million Dollars to Top Latest DNJournal Chart
A domain with an infamous past, Backpage.com, was allowed to expire a couple of weeks ago but that wasn't the end of the story. DropCatch.com, as they so often do, won the scrum for the domain and went on to auction it off and collect $259,500 from the winning bidder. That made it the highest sale we saw since our last bi-weekly report and one of the ten highest reported so far in this new year.
