Can I let my domain expire and earn through sales in its expired auction?
As expired domain auctions always get more visibilty.

nope,
if he sold for any amount, you wont see any penny of this money,
but you will have the opportunity to recover the domain with an extra fee,
that can be interesting if the auction take off

@DomainChap What if I recover the domain while it is at a running auction. How do I sell it then?

if someone put a bid of Xxx$ they will contact you
just make it easy for them to reach you,
by putting a contact form on the domain name; using a service like undeveloped or efty

Depends what market place it's at. I'm sure GD changed the redemption period so that if a name is in an expired auction you can't renew/redeem the name. I may have remembered that wrongly so you'd have to make sure before risking it.

they reduced the recovery time by a few days, but you still can recover the domain while it is at auction, that will cost you a little bit
just visit your "Expired domains" section and you'll see what can be done
