I suppose this is geared towards the more experienced people lurking in the beginner's forum. How do you find/get your domains? I scroll through lots of expired domain lists, and the vast vast majority are just junk (no surprise), and when one decent enough to interest me does get through, someone has already registered it. Auctions are filled with junk as well, and the decent names skyrocket above my price range. Is this everyone's experience? Am I looking in the wrong places?
There are a few gems left in expired domains and auctions, or more exactly, there are underpriced domains left here and there. There are also some good deals in forums (dp forums for example). Overall, you need some automation to search, but at the end of the day, you need to finish manually. Keep trying !
If it was easy to find a good domain for cheap, we domainers would be out of job Keep learning and searching.
Sorry for my expression, but the art of expired domains is to find the chocolate out of the [email protected] Not everytime easy, but there always 2-3 gems which could be everytime valuable in your own eyes.
Ignorance is bliss you pretty much have to " know what you're looking for", before you go dumpster diving. can't just go wading all willy-nilly thru pigeon shit. keep your chin up, cuz it get high sometimes imo......
