Existing traffic

quick question...are there any issues with getting an expired name b/c of existing traffic just to forward that name to one of your other sites instead of developing the domain itself? (minisites, affiliate sites, parked pages...which are better? , which are no-nos?)

Any advice appreciated!

You can certainly forward a name, but it will likely lose it's pagerank and backlinks pretty quickly. GL!
