One to avoid - Paul Rogers

Hello,

Well, I used this kid to help me out as I had no ftp access, and he was gonna upload my vB forum, template and do a shop hack.

He previously said to me he has never used vB before, but is very good with code so I let him loose.

Over an hour had passed of him working on a simple shop hack that I could have done in 15-20 mins had I ftp access, and all I had to show for it were PHP errors.

So I was getting impatient, and asked him to remove the code he'd altered, as it was clear he wasn't as good with working out code as he thought.

He did this, but left lots of PHP errors in the admincp. I asked him to fix them, and he got irate.

He then posted on MSN "How's the site now? Is it ok?"

So I went to the site, and he had redirected it to homosexual elderly pornography. When I demanded he remove it and put my database back up, he tells me he deleted my database without backing up.

I can't get his full details as he uses WhoisGuard, but he runs http://www.xtreme-forums.com/ and is obviously a bored kid who knows nothing about conducting himself in a respectful manner.

well yeah, as ive said to luke, im really sorry for all what happened, and i just found out the reason he was annoyed is he setup some settings in the ACP and used his time up, i didnt know that either, and i was annoyed, thats why the redirection was done, i didnt set out and plan to do this, and as they say "we learn from our mistakes"

it was malicous and wrong, i know it was, but i beleive i had a reason to delete all files, my time was wasted, we were both in the wrong i saw, me the most, anyway im gonna shutup now, end of as far as im concerned, unless someone wants to add, btw, its safe to do dealings with me lol
