Alright - here is my newest baby. I had a few sites hacked a few months ago. While cleaning it up, I thought it would be cool to have something that watched your website for changes. With that idea, and many hours of programming later, I am proud to announce CrossCheck.net.
All you have to do is ftp a small script to the root directory of your website. Our servers take care of the rest! Once per day, your website will be scanned and analyzed for changes. You will receive a daily email with any file that has been added, deleted, or changed. This will allow you to QUICKLY find any unauthorized changes to your website. If you have ever had a website compromised, you know how much of a pain it can be. Your webhost shuts you down, you have to locate the offending scripts, then you have to prove to them that everything is cleaned up. Meanwhile you lose valuable traffic, sales, and revenue. Most of the time, these vulnerabilities occur is third-party scripts like vBulletin, WordPress, or any other of the thousands of pre-written programs out there.
