Euros - Pounds - Dollars Which to Set ??

Hi all, I would like to know if you think there is any advantage in particular to setting the currency to either - Euros - Pounds or US Dollars for selling domains ?

100 euros = 120 us $
100 £ = 174 us $

Do you think there would be any sort of Psycological effect from converting say - £ 500 to $us ? as the result of the exchange "looks" considerably higher at $ 871

Any thoughts on this ??

Interesting thought. Being a US resident, I post my domains in USD because sometimes I fear that it will scare potential buyers off if it appears I only want payment Euros or Pounds.

It could also depend on the type of domain. If you were selling a .US domain, I'd recommend listing the price in US dollars.

I live in the UK, but even so, I try to make most of my online transactions in USD. Unless I'm selling on eBay UK or something.

i use dollars even though i dont live there. Mainly because my pound sign button comes up as # for some reason :imho:

it depends on what you can accept if that's not a problem, then go for the highest.

i sometimes get put off by high dollar offers. (e.g. $1000 is just 573 pound according to xe.com)

If you make a Mini site/directory with PPC links in all the possible categories related to sex maybe you could retire sooner, and keep the name ??

The average parking page won't produce much traffic or get you ranked very well in search engines but that could change if you developed it.

Its an interesting question, if set in pounds it might catch someones attention as a better bargain because the numbers are lower.
