I tried to register a .asia name at eurodns when the "Go Live" just opened,
I had submitted the order, but eurodns didn't get it for me in real time, and the domain name was registered by someone else at moniker few minutes later. I am sure it was available when I submitted my order because I had checked it several times in many other registars after my registration at eurodns, It's very frustrating for me... :(

Will they refund me?

See, that is why I am suspicious, the coupon code icon on their website says their Golive is on the 28th??? Lots of people too have registered with them on landrush and mostly lost the domains registered. Either they said it was already registered on sunrise? It was gov reserved? Some say they registered theirs before somebody did? I got refunds??? Some of the domains I regged was refunded??? Will it go to auction or did somebody taken them already???
I have no clue!!! I guess I just have to check the Whois on who regged them and if I found out that it was from someone internally (EuroDns), then we might just have a case for the firm!@

I too missed a great domain due to the same reason.

EuroDNS is incompetent registrator. May be they by hand register domains

I tried registering two names about 30 minutes ago and it is saying "first step" for both of them. Is the first step where EuroDns looks at the name and decides if they like it more than I do? hehe ;)

EuroDNS really dropped the ball this time.

I have 200 domains just sitting on hold at eurodns. First they gave false positives, showing domains were available when they were not. Then they just stalled after charging me for 200 domains. I called them today, and they said "oh we're about to process those now". Which means they're doing it manually?! Come on EuroDNS, this is a competition. You can't charge people for domains and just let them sit on hold while other people are grabbing them. Wake up!

Moniker was able to instantly register the same ones I had on hold with EuroDNS.

Some my .Asia domains are available for today. In eurodns control panel they marked as "Ready for submission"

lol exactly, that's ready but not submitted. During that time, someone else can grab them.

I think eurodns process credit card transactions in batch, then register the names.

I debited my EuroDNS account in February for Landrush, but money refunded into my Eurodns account

I an happy enough to have registered several .asia domains via Eurodns.com.
But I quite understand why people can be dissatisfied with them, as thousands of people may be trying to grab the same domains via Moniker,Namecheap and other registrars at the same time.
So basically there's no need to call a company with thousands of happy customers scammers, that would be really stupid of them to try and ruin their reputation.
Be objective, guys....

With Asiadns/Eurodns
I "took" three false available domains the 26th march.
I gave them 45 dollars.
Now I haven't got the 3 domains.
They didn't refund me.
My credit is zero (till now).

I'm objective. Dynadot is much better, unfortunately they don't give the CED.

Eurodns wrote me that I will receive the refund automatically until end of this week.
So all OK ;)

Well, refund isn't an instant process, it takes 3-4 business days to complete, and and it's Monday today, I'm sure you'll see money on your account today or tomorrow....

Hi Guys,

I applied for some .asia domains and 12 had the status “Ready for Submission” for about 2 days.

I have called EuroDNS to know what’s happening with the domains. They told me that in most cases when a domain is in that status there is a problem with the availability of the it.

In 90 % is the domain already taken.

I have found the refund in my account one day later.

And incidentally the .asia Registry and Pool.com starts the auctions not EuroDNS.

You should better inform you, maybe here

http://dotasia.pool.com/faq.aspx

or here

Guys, EuroDNS may be good for other extensions, but .asia they are pathetic. Godaddy is the best ive found. My advice is if you find a good name, DO NOT use EuroDNS because it will be stuck for hours or days or weeks (mine still stuck in 'ready for submission' since 26th March). Also no reply to emails since the 27th March and no 'refund'.
