okay, I will try breifly explaining my experience with them.

On the day of first day of landrush, I tried submitted my domain through them Eurodns.com with a promo of 4 euros.

I submitted these following domains, this is what I copied today on my account from Euro Dns below

EuroDNS Actions
The following actions are currently pending. Only the last 10 actions are shown here, if more than 10 actions are available you can access them using the 'Show more actions' Button

Domain Action Description Todo by
observe.asia new Ready for submission EuroDNS
entertains.asia new Ready for submission EuroDNS
majority.asia new Ready for submission EuroDNS
refer.asia new Submitted to the registry EuroDNS
current.asia new Submitted to the registry EuroDNS

After waiting enough, I tried submitted lots of tickets to eurodns, but I did not get any response, if you guys need the those ticket number, please contact me, so here we go again, I then at the last end, I faxed them my complaint, for the international fax over to the Luxembourg (eurodns base), I paid 5.99 us dollars.
I faxed to Xavier fax number to the following number and contact below:-

Fax:
+352 26 37 25 - 37

General Manager :
Xavier Buck

After faxing them the document, I then waited for another week, still did not get response, and today 30th of march 2008, I still have not gotten any response, out of my 5 domains, 3 are in the status of "ready for submission", 2 are submitted to the registry, and I still have not gotten any response regarding those 2 that had been submitted.
This expereince and negative way of doing business with eurodns had really disturbed me mentally.

SO, i logged on domain.com, and checked Entertains.asia, it was avaliable, then I registered and went back on eurodns, it was still in the status " ready for submission".

so after that, I have lost my hope and interest in this company, if you guys want to verify with eurodns,

so feel free to message me.

But one thing I would like to mention is, WORSE EXPEREINSE, WORSE COMPANY, WHY RUN promo if you can't satisfy the customer, please avoid this company whosoever. Especially never order your golive landrush or any applications through EURODNS in the future.

Thanks

It sounds like you had some major issues - personally I haven't had that experience. I registered several hundred .ASIA names with them and everything went very smoothly, considering the pandemonium which occurred during the final days.

Thanks

Customer Service is pretty bad at most big domain companies. You just have to roll with it. I've never had any problems with eurodns prior to applying for .asia names. The 4 Euro promotion link didn't seem to work initially but I think that was a problem for everybody. I had to resubmit my applications a few days later.

There was no panic because there was a long window for getting your applications in for auction and if the domain wasn't good enough to get more than 2 bids and go to auction it's not going to be worth much in future.

I have had the same issue with Eurodns. I am still waiting for a refund/credit for several domains. One of the domains I registered at Eurodns was registered by someone else seconds after I registered/paid for it at Eurodns. The other domains are not showing in my account at all. I have sent a support question with no response so far.

"Customer Service is pretty bad at most big domain companies" This is not acceptable, registrars need to step up their customer service or risk losing customers. Just like any company they will only lose business for having bad customer service.

"if the domain wasn't good enough to get more than 2 bids and go to auction it's not going to be worth much in future." I disagree, many good domains have been available during the open registration period.

I agree I can't recommend euroDNS but they are not scammers..

Their customer service is awful, their domain registraion sytem even worse and their page is not user-friendly and very buggy.

I hope that they improve that, they could make a lot more money then.

2all,

Let me clarify some things:

Indeed when you got your .asia domain from the Landrush you can't update it for 60 days (registry regulation). But you can use the url forward if you registered with our standard NS, so you can redirect your .asia's to Sedo, Namedrive to monitize your traffic.

Domains that we could not register for you and that you paid for in advance will all be refunded in your account. From there you can request a refund to your bank account etc. (in case of a refund to your eurodns account there is no fee involved. In case of a refund to your bank account a small fee wil be charged for the work involved)

Indeed our support is a bit overwhelmed after the Live of .asia, but most requests are still answered within the first 24 hours. Some will take longer, but will be followed-up.

With urgent problems, that have not been answered by this posting you can reach me at [email protected].

oh, wow, you guys are alive, not trying to be mean, but worse expeierence of my life ever, is EURODNS.

what if someone just ordered 1 domains the fees were (2 times 4) = 8euros, and for the bank refund, EURODNS charge 10 Euros, WOW, NOW A person who ordered just one domain, owe EURODNS 2 DOLLARS (10-8)= 2 Dollars,

So, again, Euro Dns aka Worse Company, and plus Add my 6 dollars of my faxed documents that I faxed over to eurodns, to that, I never got any reply yet, to my voicemails whatsoever.

I made the same mistake with my first .asia domain.
You have to choose the nameservers BEFORE to order the domains.
Now first I select the Sedo nameservers in the order, then I register the domain, at the end I park it in Sedo.

They run AsiaDNS too. That's the reason I use to always ask whether Paypal was an option, so that I could chargeback. Thet would never run away with the money.

We've had our share of trouble with the EuroDNS's .asia domain registration, but the support staff has always answered our emails within 12 hours, if not always 100% accurate and spot on, so we can't complain about that. We've regged several other ccTLD's with them without any problems what so ever.

Welcome back Sanders,

Well I managed to register about 46 domains after the Landrush (GoLive).
I was gonna register some more but the thing that stopped me was the 60 days waiting period as I could not change the DNS to my parking service.

Since I got those domains during the GoLive phase, why then did I got email from your support that I could not change the DNS???

By what you are saying above "I can now use redirect to my parking service so I can find out if those domain purchase are worthy instead of you guys receiving those generated revenue?

Also, I do have 40+ landrush registered domains with status as was submitted to registry that I believe is going to auction!

Now, I did not like the rule you guys emailed me that when if in the event that nobody did bid on the domain at auction that you guys will try to secure the domain for us? Well, it might be too late as now you guys know if the domain is worhty or not as it is already resolving as a parked domain. If the domain is generating pretty darn good income, I have the reason to believe that you would secure it for yourselves instead of securing it for us!
