Hey,

Will the .eu be available to anyone or just people in Europe? (I guess anyone will be able to buy one as pool.com are offering pre-ordering or are they offering pre-ordering to people only in Europe?)

Will there be certain requirements in order to buy one?

.eu domains sounds good.But I dunno if it is available.

To register a .eu domain name you must be one of the following:


1. Undertakings having their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community; or

2. organisations established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of national law; or

3. natural persons resident within the European Community.

Proof of your trade mark(s), company names and personal names will be required before registration, and priority is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

well, .us is also only for people in USA, but a lot of people who live in Europe have some .us's. So, I guess it really doesn't matter.
