Anybody has any info about this new TLD.
I need to buy some but i dont belong to eu community. :td:

When will the applications be accepted?
Cheapest registrar to submit eu domains...

just to be curious ... why do you want eu domains ?? if there is a valid reason then i might register too

The .eu TLD will be a new Top level Domain, introduced for use by individuals, organisations and companies in the European Union. It will not replace the existing national ccTLDs in the EU, but will complement them and give users the additional option of having a pan-European Internet identity for their web sites and e-mail addresses.

The EU is one of the biggest users of the Internet in the world and the introduction of a .eu TLD will create even more opportunities to exploit this exciting technology.

I think you may have missed that there are going to be restrictions placed on this domain name to avoid the speculative registrations.

If you manage to get a .eu name at a later date Eurid might snatched back the name from those who are not entitled to them and you may lose your name and will not receive any compensate for your money spent on registration fees.

Maybe the purpose of .eu names is to challenge American dominance of the internet. If this is indeed the purpose the EU are not going to let Americans buy up all their names.

I thinks that's exactly what the .eu is meant to do IMO
