.eu domains automatically renewed?

A few questions about .eu domains.

Someone told me .eu domains will be renewed automatically every year. Is that true?

So the domains I bought will be renewed and I´ll be charged "automatically"?
I guess I can decide to not renew a domain, right?

On the other hand, is really that hard to sell/transfer .eu domains?

How renewals occur depend on registrar policy i presume, godaddy for instance can renew them automaticly for you but you could also set it to manual.
So i would contact your registrar for an answer applicabe to your situation.
But it's your decision if you want to yes or no.

Transfers can be easy but by reading experiences from other members it can also be not so easy.
In my own personal experience the transfer of a domain i had sold was smooth and easy.
One day i recieved an confirmation email from Eurid and i confirmed and the domain was within a few days transferred to the new owner.

Once again contact your registrar for their policies regarding this matter.
I have the majority of my .eu domains with Networking4All.com and ownership transfers are very easy to finalize.

Registering domains may not be as easy as GD since you need to send in paperwork or fax the documents but they are processed within a day upon arrival.

Also a plus is that the cost of a .eu domain is €9.50
