hmmm.... how much would Estibot appraise the domainname

JustGotMyAssSuedOutOfMyPants.com ?

I think because of the Pants thing the value is $0, but you never know, you might find one who walks around in shorts, who wants to buy them? :)

im not trying to sell them therefore there is no possibility to be sued.

also the only way i would be able to get sued is if they had trademarks or copyrights to the title "NAME+NUDE" at the end of it...

however, even if they do wind up copyrighting those phrases...
since i registed my domains before they do so, they can attempt
to sue all they want but they will lose.

stats are pretty decent for exact phrase results for $7 purchases.
i just wanted them appraised by NORMAL people not bots

BASED ON THE STATS.

I don't see any TM or legal issues with the domain. It's not breaking any TM rules, considering I have never heard of any of these people trademarking their own name. The only legal issue you can get yourself into with these is if you misrepresent your site with lies about the artist the site is about, or pretend for example with GwenStefaniNude that you are Gwen Stefani. Those are the only times I might see you facing legal issues. Otherwise, I will be perfectly honest that I can't even begin to believe how high Estibot appraised these domains. On the forums, I would say you could get about regular fee in my honest opinion. Others may think something else, but that is my opinion as a domainer.

i agree with you, and once again im not trying to sell them.

i just wanted an appraisal as far as the stats
because those stats represent exact phrase searches.

for example gwen-stefani-nude gets over 4k exact phrase searches.
if my links build up in the PR levels, then it can generate TONS of money
if forwarded to affiliate programs

and i wanted a appraisal on what people think it can possible generate for me.

1) i thought that celebrities "automatically" have their name trademarked.
2) just because you add the word "nude" to the end doesn't mean it doesn't break trademark rules. something like "disneymovies" would be breaking tms even though only "disney" is tmed.
3) whether you are selling the domains or not, you are still exploiting these people's names and trying to make money from the work they put into promoting their names.

Bingo, Just imagine your name with nude, and other people get money with that. IMHO.

Your would be better off with a name like MandyMoore.net or Mandy-Moore.com than one like MandyMooreNude.com, as that type of name is looking for profit. There are legit reasons to own a domain like Mandy-Moore.com if you wanted to run a fan site for example, but I would not touch a name like this.

They have value to the right person, but they are an infringemnt of that person's rights also and you would lose them in a UDRP as they were registered in bad faith.

These domains are not worth anything IMHO. A little advice, if you are just holding on to them, I wouldn't have them on parked pages. You will probably not receive a C&D or have any legal problems by owning these but it is a possibility. I believe it is these types of domains that give our industry a bad reputation.

Try picking up slang in languages that are not your native tongue, it isn't easy.

I concur, these names are more hassle than they are worth, Someone may pay regfee for them.

I agree.. I LOL'd because after thinking about it I figured it's a very funny sounding word for money.

Back to the topic, if you very recently registered them you may still be able to cancel them and get your money back. Depends on the registrar.

Right,

American English is full of slang we never think about - but when we think about it - we think 'this doesn't make much sense' . . .

5 days I believe is the grace period to get your $ back, however, this was the loophole for 'domain tasting' which some were exploiting.

There should still be a way to get your money back. Only one time have I had to do it - I typod the name I reg'd!

It seems the names were reg'd 3 days ago....I suggest contacting Godaddy about a refund.

and it seems Heidi Klum at least - has been dropped once before...

I've had good luck getting a refund with Godaddy if I called them within a few days. They refunded me right away while I was still on the phone with them.
