Hi,
I have started a new project on craiglist.org so i need to let go this proxy network which I setup 10 months ago..
It is an established proxy network and it is earning profits now from 3 sources which i am going to explain below.
Main site is www.proxapp.com and the network consists of following sites and its details (the stats is from Nov 07 onwards because i switched server in Nov 07) , all domain name are registered in godaddy.com :
i) Proxapp.com (PR2, domain expires : 24/1/08)
All the stats and adsense earning proof can be obtained from http://proxapp.com/stats/proxapp/
ii) proxyforfun.com (PR0, domain expires : 13/1/09)

iii) slipthru.info (PR2, domain expires : 26-5-08)

iv) hopthrough.info (PR0, domain expires : 11/4/08)

Below are the adsense earning in Dec 07 (pls see proof above) :
proxyforfun : $4.75
slipthru : $7.13
proxapp : $26.27
myfreesurf : $14.70
invisbilesurf : $4.87
hopthrough : $0.92
Total adsense earning : $58.64 per month
adversal : $5.00 per month
adengage.com : $11.15 per month
Total earning per month for all the sites : $75 per month
When i started these proxy network, i have spent around $100 to promote the sites by listing them in 100 over proxy topsites and advertised them in other proxy related forums. Now, I spend zero dollars in promoting the sites, most of the traffics are getting from search engine or other proxy site (proxy.org and etc). I used to earn around over $150 per month when i actively promoting those sites but now since I do nothing here so the earning drops to $75 per month...
I host all the sites in a US hosting company that cost $12 per month for 500 Gb bandwidth and 30 G diskspace. All the sites only use around 150 Gb per month ( i have used a script to block hotlinking to my sites) so you can also use the hosting account to host other web sites you have...
Proxapp.com can a lot of natural traffic from http://www.freeproxysite.com/ (a proxy topsite) because it was listed as #1 spot under the "top 10 proxies by clicks" category, this attracts a lot of traffic and the traffic spill over to my other proxy sites.
Also, proxapp.com has a chinese language based web proxy which is for China users to accecss (URL : http://www.proxapp.com/chi/). That web site attracted *so much* china traffic until i have to temporary block the site from being accessed by china users because the server simply could not handle it. You can open the site back any time you want (I blocked the china IP using .htaccess file) if you want to attract China traffic and redirect them to other of your web site (if you are targeting china user for your product , this is a good site you can make use). FYI, that chinese web proxy site has been indexed by china biggest search engine : www.baidu.com (Google.com equivalent in China) and reported in a few china web forum (http://www.i-sx.net/viewthread.php?tid=116067) so those are organic china traffic.
