ESPANA.es recently purchased on moniker. Still waiting for it to show up in whois. Was told it takes some time when dealing with .es registry.

Saw that these recent sales occured:
1) Apartamentos.es $40,704 (Apartments in Spanish)
2) Zorras.es $8,412
3) Idealo.es $6,784

Being that Spain is the ninth largest economy in the world and fifth largest in the EU, figured espana.es could be for everything that you could think of in Spain:
1) apartments
2) loans
3) homes
4) computers
5) travel
6) vacation
7) food
8) etc.

Any thoughts on whether it was worth the purchase are welcomed.

Thank you in advance.

Hmmm strange ESPANA.es is a reserved name I believe.
Of course it would not be the first time a country 'forgets' to reserve its own name... :)

España.es is the right way to spell it... so I really dont think this domain has a high value.

Webster's dictionary recognizes Espana and España. And most computer users don't even know how to place the ~ over the n if that were required to access the domain. And since every keyboard doesn't have that certain key feature ñ already labeled, España.es would appear to have limitations. Others on another board have stated $xxx, xxx easily, if the registration is successful.
