Escrow, secure domain transfers?

Hi,

Has anyone used Escrow for domain name transfers? Is it secure? How does it work? How long does the process take? Is the seller fully protected (e.g buyer cannot ask for refund if the domain gets to him).

Experiences and some information would be great!

I have used Escrow.com when selling domains. I highly recomend them.

Domain selling information

Both the seller and the buyer are fully protected. All my domain buyers were happy to pay the fee.

i have used it too.

i trust the safety of it.. after all , i think it's best to have 3rd party (established) one transacting it... with those rise of scammer and etc out there.

Before it sends the domain name to the NEW registrant, does it check the CURRENT whoIS data? I know it says it checks the new registrant whoIS data, what about the current?
