You posted a stickie yesterday stating that no sales threads will be allowed , because they should not be on this forum, and that anyone who posted a sales thread would have it deleted and if posted a second time would be banned......

Yet on the 17th February, you posted the following thread : http://www.namepros.com/dot-tv/295379-24-hour-auction.html - in which you were selling off a few of your names........am I the one thats confused here?? Or are you selling your names on this forum??

I mean no disrespect, I am just trying to follow what is going on here...

Now I see someone else posting their names for sale......I think that maybe he is confused too.

Please could you help the forum out and clarify your remarks from yesterday.

Now rxplain to me the confusion I see someone just posted a sales thread COnfusion is not the word I would use because there is a sticky thread stating as of 11pm eastern Feb 19 no more sales threads THAT IS CONFUSING? I just asked a 10 year old here to read that and if they were confused ? They asked me if I was kidding

Well let me explain myself a little better Equity.

You re saying that on the 17th that sales threads were permitted, but on the 19th a decision was made to stop the sales threads......if that is the situation, that is fine..........but my confusion is your wording in your sticky -THIS IS NOT A PAID GIG KINDERGARTEN OVER .........

If sales threads were allowed until the 19th, including your own, why are you remarking THIS IS NOT A PAID GIG KINDERGARTEN OVER, as if all people who posted up to the 19th, that they were behaving like they were in a kindergrten??

That doesnt make sense....if people were allowed to post until the 19th, why should they feel insulted about their posts, did they know in advance about the new rule coming out on the 19th?? No, they did not. So why tell them their behaviour was like a kindergarten and that this is not a paid gig.....after all, you posted a for sales thread yourself.

I think you need to handle situations like this a little more sensitively Equity.....there is no reason to run over peoples feelings in this way.

No Millers the Op sales thread were fine, it was th epeople who blatantly break the rules of posting in sales threads which were from day one specifically spelled out NO POSTING IN SALES THREADS so since this happened around the clock and they had to be regularly deleted that is where the kindergarten remark came from. And if that offended the childish offenders of that rule then they need to get thicker skin. This is not a govt entity nor a publicservice

Well Obviously sales threads had been going on there was nothing wrong with that it was the constant posters in the threads some members who did it all the time that enough was enough. DB who grew tired of the sales thread nonsense in the .us forum stopped it there and I stopped it here

Wouldn't it be nice to create a .TV Marketplace subforum like .mobi has?

Fair enough EQ, but why is .mobi given a separate Marketplace? It keeps there forum clean by having one keeping subject matter in the main body.

Well first off to Dream and SKG I run this subfroum I do not own or mod any other part of Namepros. Second I would not call that section clean because there are many people who post in sales threads other things besides SoLD. A sales thread should be a sales pitch, if someone interested they post sold. If they have a question they PM not post or post PM SENT in the thread which thankfully some forums have done away with. NAMEPROS has a Sales subforum they have a traffic sales sub a high priced Sales sub there are plenty of outlets to post sales threads.


OH and Millers I added to the sticky to let people know who were the kindergarten children

I asked you a question and I think the post did not get your attention because you were busy. Can you tell me 1) whether this is over (I assume it is given the 24 period) and 2) was it iptv.tv or hdiptv.tv.
