ok and what is this free for np members escrow thing? whihc fees are waived.. or reduced.. do you know? if not maybe @Rob Monster can clarify.

as comparaison I basically send my bodis leads to DAN... there its 5% all in.. so mass payout no extra paypal fee.. or btc payout.. so flat 5% to me. i think they do bit better at sedo.. but they have then paypal payout extra fee.. or extra fee for buyer or somehting like that.. so i think in the end sedo > dan... not sure about other services out there.. maybe I'd save 1% or so elsewhere.. but with less known company its not worth it for me.. plus I like paypal+btc payouts... but i\d still like to hear how dan compares to epik.. in terms of fees. ty.

Hopefully Rob will clarify for us again...as I understand it, if the name is regged at Epik more fees (other than the ones I copied and pasted above) could/would be waived. I just sent that option to an inquiry on one of my names (as with most non domainers, they wanted to do daddy transaction). Basically I said they have the option to pay 1.5% of my asking price in commission or 20%. I am waiting on a response.

edit: my statement above re daddy is because alot of people not familiar with domain buying recognize the name...some are surprised when I tell them there are hundreds of registrars and sub registrars out there where names are bought and sold.

Every sales pitch I make has reference to the savings epik escrow can give the buyer...as far as marketplace goes, I've asked somewhere here (not sure what thread off hand) if there is anyway the ssl landers can be used when linking through voodoo. I would prefer they land on the ssl page with a buy it now button over my having to drop everything to explain to the inquiry why I dont take escrow.com. Exactly. The funds are instantly available on Epik after a sale completes.

It's still on .. I was making a few transfer and didn't even realise there was a promo on until I had everything in my cart! lol .. Nice surprise!

The .CO is our second best after-market TLD with many domains selling in 4 and 5 figures. I even saw a 6 figure offer recently.

For domains where the .COM is totally locked down, I believe .CO is the next best thing. So, if you can find a .CO domain that is a compelling URL shortener for multiple bidders, you might have a winner.

6 figure for a 2L/3L or single word?

BTW .. This reminded me I had a pending offer of $10,000,000 for a popular name in .biz .. I just accepted it .. keep an eye on it for me.

.CO are pretty solid though .. but people need to keep the domains very simple. Common single word or single term.

The problem is that about a year ago they added tons of domains to the "premium" tier .. so you can't get the actual domains that sell with promo pricing anymore. Well .. you can probably find a few .. but nothing at all compared to before. It's too bad .. because the old .CO business model worked well for me.

I honestly haven't checked much lately .. I'll be sure to try to find a few domains next week .. at $1.99 always worth a bit of a gamble if you can find half decent names.
