As soon as someone has a large load of .COM to transfer we'll open the $6.99 COM transfer again for a few hours. We normally open up the Happy Hour for folks moving or bulk buying 500+ .com domains at a time, however, if any NP member has 100+ .com to bulk transfer, just PM @Sufyan Alani or I and we'll open up the happy hour for everyone.

I don't have a large portfolio, but I am just curious as to how the big portfolio transfers like 5000 or 10000 or even 50000 domains to Epik are handled as far as handling all the Auth Codes and approving all the emails by the portfolio owner. (just curious)

Fair question. Bulk transfers are done here:

FOA verification emails are no longer required as GDPR trashed all of that when registrants had their WHOIS emails hidden.

As a result, the bulk transfer process is quick these days and relatively painless for most registrars. The DNS is inherited by default.

WHOIS privacy is also free and enabled by default though you can set custom domain profiles if you like. See here:

For some registrars, notably NetSol, the only real pain is in retrieving the auth codes. We provide a free transfer concierge service to manage that task.

Now, there is a clever idea -- an API for checking domain prices and then running queued batches when the happy hour starts.

If you do code that, perhaps put it in Github as open source

I do and might after my current awesome project is done.

BTW my current awesome project is called "Words To Name" if anyone needs a clue. And yes it will be a free tool when it's done.

this way you'll get more traction and people who are not in us will not miss it

@MrAcidic .. the hours aren't necessarily 2-4pm each time ... however .. any times Rob posts is usually Pacific Time (Seattle, LA, Vancouver). Often he'll simply put "Next X hours", which makes it much simpler .. but doesn't really give much time to get your transfer codes! lol

Lovely thanks for clearing it up. Have put the thread on watch with email notifications - only 8 hours behind so if my phone wakes me some nights so be it the other half might have something to say, but she will get over it eventually.....

You don't have to be an economist to see what is happening.

Well folks, I hope a few of you listened to my advice back 10 days ago because that trend was looking pretty obvious. This week, yields are crashing everywhere.

In essence, people will be penalized for holding cash by non-yield or negative real yield, and even negative NOMINAL yield. That is pretty crazy.

In the meantime, today, the pain is in Spain with back to back 30+% single-day drops in yield.

By the way, I am not buying the story about an imminent stand-down of the China trade deal. Those tariffs are going to be around for a bit.

Fortunately, there are no tariffs on .COM domains so, in honor of that, who wants a big happy hour today for .COM Creates and Transfers?
