ENS DAO is officially working with Ethiopia to get control of .eth via DNS

If this is true it will give ENS the ability to hyperlink web3 .eth domains all around the web?

Absolutely a game changer!

if .eth just becomes a ccTLD approved by ICANN, are they really still a web3 domains?

Anyway, Ethiopia already has .et. ICANN isn’t going to change that so they can then bypass the ICANN system. It doesn’t make sense. This just sounds like more hype than anything.
